SPRINGFIELD — Job seekers looking for a position in health care will benefit from an expanded and improved online ‘Career Opportunities’ page atwww.baystatehealth.com/jobs, where they can search and apply for career opportunities at Baystate Health.

“A wide variety of career opportunities awaits those looking for a rewarding position in the health care field,” said Sarah McCarthy, acting directo of Recruitment of Baystate Health.

In addition to direct caregiving positions including doctors, nurses, radiologists, physical therapists, social workers and others, there are career opportunities at Baystate Health available in food services, engineering, accounting, security, information technology, and many other fields, McCarthy noted.

“Other than ease of navigation, a big advantage to our expanded Career Opportunities page for applicants, as well as for Baystate Health, is that once a person applies online, their information remains in our database for three years creating a searchable database for our recruiters,” McCarthy said.

“And, if an applicant’s experience and criteria matches a different position available in our health system over time, we will have the option to contact them,” she added.

Also, with the use of a personal password, applicants can update their information online as needed.
