BMLH Announces 2010 Support Group Schedule
WARE — Facing a major illness or stressful life change can be a daunting prospect. Support groups bring together people facing similar issues and can help them to cope and feel less isolated by making connections with others facing similar challenges. Baystate Mary Lane Hospital announces the following scheduled for various support groups in 2010.
Alcoholics Anonymous: Main Conference Room, Sundays, 7 to 8:15 p.m.
Breast Cancer Support Group: Every other Wednesday, 3:30 to 5 p.m. For more information, contact Claudia Benoit, oncology social worker, (413) 967-2245.
Caregivers Support Group: Human Resource Conference Room, every third Wednesday, 3:30 to 5 p.m. Contact Stasia Wozniak, medical social worker, (413) 967-2225.
Childbirth Classes: Main Conference Room, as scheduled Tuesday evenings. Call Baystate Health Link at (413) 967-2488 or (800) 377-4325 to register for classes.
Circle of Angels: A quilting support group for people and families who have been touched by cancer: Community Health Information Conference Room, first floor, every first and third Tuesday, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Contact Claudia Benoit, oncology social worker, (413) 967-2245.
Grieving Support Group: Human Resource Conference Room, every first Tuesday, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Contact Stasia Wozniak, medical social worker, (413) 967-2225.
