CleanSlate Centers Opens New Treatment Facility in Lynn

LYNN — Officials with CleanSlate Centers announced that the company will continue to expand local access to safe, effective, physician-led treatment for opioid and alcohol addiction with a new outpatient center in Lynn. The center, located at 274-282 Union St., will begin seeing patients June 12. It also opened a new outpatient center in Keller, Texas.

Founded in 2009 in response to the growing opioid epidemic facing the country, CleanSlate has treated more than 14,000 patients in some of the states hit hardest by the opioid epidemic. The Lynn center represents the organization’s 14th in Massachusetts, furthering the group’s ongoing fight against addiction in the state. The Keller center is its second in Texas, which ranks seventh in the nation in opioid-related overdose deaths.

“At CleanSlate, we know that opioid addiction is best treated as the chronic disease it is,” said Dr. Kelly Clark, chief medical officer of CleanSlate. “We currently treat thousands of patients for opioid and alcohol addiction in a comfortable outpatient environment with a full-time, dedicated team of physicians and advanced-practice clinicians. Our ultimate goal is to help these patients achieve the life they want and deserve — a ‘clean slate’ from which to thrive.”
