Farrick Named Director Of FMC Outpatient Services

GREENFIELD – David Farrick, an experienced hospital and physician practice administrator, has joined the leadership team at Franklin Medical Center as director of Outpatient Services.
Farrick comes to this position from a large orthopedic practice in Altoona, Pa, where he had served as administrator for the past six years.

Farrick earned his bachelor of science degree, with a concentration in Arabic, from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1988. He earned his master of Health Administration from Baylor University in 1996, and has since attained recognition by the American College of Health Care Executives as a certified medical practice executive and diplomat.

Farrick was one of only seven West Point graduates in his class to be directly assessed into the Medical Service Corps, where he served for 10 years. First stationed at a field unit in Germany, he moved on to administrative postings at military hospitals in Texas, California, Maryland, and New York.

“I was attracted to the health care field by its complexity and by the chance it would give me to work with highly educated colleagues, all focused on helping people,” said Farrick. “The position at Franklin presents a great challenge, and also gives my wife and kids and I the chance to live closer to our families.”
