FMC Announces Three Promotions

GREENFIELD — Franklin Medical Center (FMC) recently announced appointments to three key senior leadership positions.
Greg Brink, CPA, has been named director of Finance; Gina O. Campbell RN, MSN, has been named director of Quality, Risk Management, and Medical Staff Affairs; and Deborah A. Palmeri RN, MSN, has been named director of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer.

Each of the three new directors has been promoted from within the FMC staff. “We are fortunate to have a significant pool of leadership talent to draw upon as we meet a challenging future,” said President Mike Skinner. “As our organization grows and the complexity of the decisions to be made increases, I am comforted being surrounded by such capable individuals as Greg, Gina, Deb, and many others.”

Brink has been working in Finance at FMC for four years. Prior to that, he spent five years in the Greenville (SC) Hospital System. In his new position, he will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, revenue management, registration, and medical records. He holds a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Arizona State University.

Campbell has been at FMC for nine years, most recently as assistant director of Clinical Support Services. She has overseen a variety of departments in a leadership role at FMC. In her new position, she is responsible for performance improvement, corporate compliance, risk management, safety, medical staff affairs, community benefits, and JCAHO accreditation. She has a Master of Science in Nursing from Catholic University in Washington, D.C.

Palmeri served as manager of the FMC Emergency Department for the past seven years. In her new position, she oversees, develops, and coordinates the management and strategic direction for patient services and nursing at FMC. She also serves in the official function as the hospital’s chief nursing officer. She has a master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Hartford.
