Mandrachia Named New Board Chair at HMC

HOLYOKE — Priscilla Mandrachia of South Hadley has been named chair of the Board of Directors of Holyoke Medical Center.

She has been a member of the board since 1998.

Mandrachia currently serves in several community organizations, including the South Hadley Appropriations Committee and the South Hadley Public Library Building Committee. She is retired from her position as second vice president in the Corporate Audit Department of the MassMutual Financial Group of Springfield.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City.

Mandrachia is a past member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, the South Hadley Public Library Building Design Committee; the South Hadley Ad-hoc Committee to Review Representative Town Government; the South Hadley Ad-hoc Committee to Recommend Candidate for Town Administrator; the South Hadley Ad-hoc Data Processing Committee; Mosier Elementary School (South Hadley) PTO, co-president; Plains Elementary School (South Hadley) PTO, president; and South Hadley Child Care Assoc., president and treasurer.

Mandrachia is married to Vincent Ferraro, the Ruth C. Lawson professor of international politics at Mount Holyoke College. The couple has two grown sons.
