NAMI Mass Annual Convention Slated for Oct. 29

STURBRIDGE — The Massachusetts chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illess (NAMI Mass) will host its annual convention, “Journey of Hope and Recovery,” on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sturbridge Host Hotel & Conference Center, 366 Main St., Sturbridge.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Kenneth Duckworth, NAMI medical director, discussing “First-episode Psychosis, New Technologies for Mental-health Recovery, and Smoking Cessation.” Accommodations can be made for the deaf and hard of hearing.
