WESTFIELD — Noble Visiting Nurse & Hospice has earned a 100{06cf2b9696b159f874511d23dbc893eb1ac83014175ed30550cfff22781411e5} deficiency-free rating from the Mass. Department of Public Health (DPH) in 2015 for excellence in hospice care. The agency, based in Westfield, provides hospice and home care to Hampshire and Hampden counties.

“We were very pleased to receive a 100{06cf2b9696b159f874511d23dbc893eb1ac83014175ed30550cfff22781411e5} deficiency-free rating in hospice,” said David Mol, president and CEO of Noble Visiting Nurse & Hospice. “This recognition reflects the strength of our commitment to our patients and their families.”

The DPH conducts a comprehensive inspection of all home-care and hospice agencies annually. These inspections occur on an unannounced basis. The high standards and exacting regulations of the process mean the deficiency-free rating is difficult to achieve, Mol noted. Noble also received the recognition for home care in 2014.

“As an agency, we strive to provide high-quality care that exceeds the expectations of our community,” said Mol. “Securing a 100{06cf2b9696b159f874511d23dbc893eb1ac83014175ed30550cfff22781411e5} deficiency-free rating in both home care and hospice demonstrates the quality care and dedication of our staff.”
