With locations on Roosevelt Avenue, the agency touts itself as the largest pediatric and perinatal home care provider in Western Mass., with a total of 175 local home health aides. The ribbon-cutting coincided with National Nurses Week last month.

Staying Sharp

‘Brain fitness’ was the goal of seniors who recently participated in Jewish Geriatric Services’ Posit Brain Science Course. Longmeadow residents Ed Conner, Jack Dufault, Gayle Kushner, Fred Richton, and Gerard Sterling took the six-week course, which was facilitated by Diana Thalmage-Kibodya, Resident Service Coordinator, Spectrum Home Health and Hospice Care. The computer-based program has been established to transform recent discoveries in brain research into practical programs that can help improve memory, communication, and thinking skills in mature adults. Here, Thalmage-Kibodya presents Richton with his graduation certificate.
