River Valley Counseling Restructures Office Locations

SPRINGFIELD — River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC) has announced a restructuring of office locations in order to better serve the agency’s client population, said Executive Director Anne Marie Martineau.

On April 30, the outpatient mental-health treatment office located at 120 Maple St., Suite 402 in Springfield closed. All clients were given the opportunity to receive services in any of the other RVCC outpatient clinics.

“We have evaluated how to best serve our clients and where our resources should be allocated in order to have the greatest impact,” said Martineau. “This restructuring will allow RVCC to focus on its core mental-health services in the Chicopee and Holyoke communities.”

The reorganization will not affect current services at the Springfield RVCC HIV/AIDS Clinic at 120 Maple St., Suite 301 in Springfield.

Clients who prefer not to seek services in Holyoke or Chicopee will be referred to one of many other outpatient clinic providers in Springfield. For questions or further information, call (413) 540-1101.
