100 years of community service.
Working harder than ever, to build a future with dignity for all. The United Way.
We were first known as the Springfield Community Chest when we started our first campaign on January 10, 1921.
While our purview has expanded to all of Hampden County, South Hadley, and Granby, and many changes made to serve that wider community, our mission has stayed exactly the same. We help families put food on their tables, improve our children’s futures, connect people in need with resources to help, and provide where others can’t. Our goal is to provide dignity for every family we can, and we need your help.
Thanks to hundreds of thousands of companies and donors, we have invested over $193 million into the Pioneer Valley’s social safety net over the past hundred years, and with your continued support we will invest much more.
Invest your time and treasure somewhere with a proven record of respecting its worth and doing anything it takes to help people in need. Give to United Way of Pioneer Valley today at uwpv.org/donate.
