Dr. Sean Mullally Returns to Berkshire Health Systems

PITTSFIELD — Berkshire Health Systems announced the appointment of Dr. Sean Mullally, a board-certified and fellowship-trained hematology oncologist, to the Berkshire Medical Center (BMC) medical staff, and to the physician staff of the BMC Cancer Center. Mullally had previously served with Berkshire Hematology Oncology from 2007 to 2010, and most recently was medical director of the Massachusetts General Cancer Program at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton.

Mullally is accepting new patients in need of hematology/oncology services, and is partnered with Drs. Trevor Bayliss, Michael DeLeo, Paul Rosenthal, and Harvey Zimbler at Berkshire Hematology Oncology, located at the BMC Cancer Center, Hillcrest Campus of BMC. Mullally is board-certified in internal medicine and was fellowship-trained in medical hematology/oncology at Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine. He received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

Mullally is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center’s One Hundred Award, which celebrates “100 everyday amazing individuals and groups who are making a difference in the fight against cancer in inspiring and often revolutionary ways.” He also received the Medical Staff Clinical Excellence Award from Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
