  • HospiceCare Offers Support for Loss of Spouse or Partner

PITTSFIELD — HospiceCare in the Berkshires will host a drop-in monthly support group for those who have lost a spouse or partner. The next group will meet Tuesday, April 18 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at HospiceCare’s main office, 877 South St., Pittsfield.

The loss of a partner can be difficult, and talking with others who have had a similar experience can help ease the burden. The group is open to anyone who has lost a spouse or significant other.

HospiceCare in the Berkshires is a nonprofit organization with more than 35 years of experience providing compassionate end-of-life care. Services include ensuring patient comfort, managing symptoms, providing personal care and companionship, respite care, and end-of-life planning. It also offers counseling services to help anyone in the community through the grieving process.
