Maple Surgery Center Changes Name
SPRINGFIELD — Maple Surgery Center, located at 298 Carew St. in Springfield, has changed its name to Baystate Orthopedic Surgery Center.
Established in 1987, the ambulatory surgery practice became part of Baystate Medical Center in 2001. Its new name more accurately reflects its orthopedic specialty and its relationship to Baystate Medical Center.
Baystate Orthopedic Surgery Center, managed by Baystate Medical Center under an administrative agreement with New England Orthopedic Surgeons, has four operating rooms and a staff that has won several top customer service and patient satisfaction awards over the past several years from Professional Research Consultants.
