Helping Hands

The Helping Hands Committee of Birch Manor in Chicopee proves that compassion and generosity have no age limits. Members have raised money for American Red Cross earthquake relief, hospice programs, and community resources that help children with autism and their families. The latest Helping Hands fund-raising event was a tag sale to benefit Griffin’s Friends Children’s Cancer Fund, a Baystate Health Foundation member. The organization is a group of volunteers dedicated to providing support, in a unique way, to children in treatment for cancer and their families, striving to bring moments of joy to courageous kids.
