18 Baystate Medical Practices Renamed

SPRINGFIELD – Eighteen primary care and specialty Baystate Medical Practices located throughout Western Mass. have been given new names.

The names, which all begin with the phrase Baystate Medical Practices, will make it easier for patients to identify most Baystate Medical practices, where they are located, and what services are offered at each one. For example, Meadows Medical Associates in East Longmeadow, will be renamed Baystate Medical Practices — East Longmeadow Adult Medicine, which refers to its location in East Longmeadow and the type of practice.

“We know the Baystate name is valued by the community and we want it to be clear that our practices are part of Baystate Health, and that we are striving to bring the best and most advanced care to the communities we serve,” said Baystate Medical Practices chief operating officer Dr. Gordon Josephson.

Baystate Medical Practices has physicians located throughout Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin Counties, offering primary, OB/GYN and specialty practice care to adults and children.
