2 Local Dentists Honored By Group

EAST LONGMEADOW — Two local dentists, Dr. Lisa B. Emirzian and Dr. Vincent J. Mariano, were inducted as fellows of the International College of Dentists at its 73rd Annual Convocation in New Orleans on Oct. 18.

An honorary organization for the recognition of outstanding and meritorious service to the profession, the college presented Emirzian and Mariano a membership plaque and gold key symbolic of this fellowship for conspicuous service rendered the art and science of dentistry.

In a ceremony witnessed by hundreds of members and guests, more than 250 U.S. dentists were inducted into the college, which has representative chapters in more than 80 countries and approximately 10,000 members, including 5,900 in the U.S.
