29 GCC Practical Nurses to Enter the Workforce
GREENFIELD — Twenty-nine graduates from Greenfield Community College’s (GCC) Practical Nursing Program were awarded certificates in a ceremony staged on June 21.
GCC graduates will be seeking meaningful careers in today’s healthcare system, a broad spectrum that includes physicians’ offices, clinics, schools, long-term care facilities, correctional facilities, and psychiatric settings, or choosing to continue their nursing education credentials. The Class of 2019 is the 27th graduating class for GCC’s Practical Nursing 10-month full-time program which prepares students to be eligible to complete a state licensure examination. The program drew students from Franklin, Hampden and Worcester Counties, to Southern Vermont and New Hampshire.
