94.7 WMAS Radiothon Raises More Than $226,925 for Baystate Children’s Hospital
SPRINGFIELD — On March 8-9, the 94.7 WMAS Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) radiothon to benefit Baystate Children’s Hospital in Springfield raised $226,925 and counting. Since 94.7 WMAS started the CMN radiothons, the events have raised more than $4.5 million.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are unique in that 100% of all money stays local to support children’s health programs and services. Listeners were encouraged to call, text, or go online to donate. The radiothon was on the air from 6 a.m.; to 6 p.m. both days and rotated all on-air staff, led by Dina & Chris from the Kellogg Krew.
“With all that is going on in the world,” the station announced, “we are so proud of how our listeners came through for the hospital.”
