Adcare Hospital Names Marcella Rivard Chief Financial Officer

WORCESTER — Jeffrey Hillis, President and CEO of AdCare Hospital, announced the appointment of Marcella Rivard as chief financial officer.

“We are delighted to welcome Marcella to AdCare and the American Addiction Centers system,” Hillis said. “She brings significant industry and finance experience and an excellent track record for leading finance and operational teams.”

Most recently, Rivard held the position of chief financial officer with Steward Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. Previously, she worked as executive director of Finance and Business Operations for Harvard Medical Faculty Practice Group of Beth Israel in Boston, Hallmark Health System Inc. in Medford as corporate controller and director of Financial Planning Decision Support, and UMass Memorial Health Care System in Worcester as senior director of Financial Planning and director of Business Development for affiliate hospitals.
