AdCare Provides Virtual Groups for Women in Recovery from Substance Use

WEST SPRINGFIELD — As colliding COVID-19 and opioid epidemics are heightening anxiety and stress for many, AdCare is providing Women in Recovery Groups virtually. AdCare’s women’s groups help foster therapeutic connection among women in recovery who share similar physiological, emotional, mental-health, and spiritual needs. They provide psychoeducation on women’s issues and encourage clients to discuss everyday struggles, identify and pursue healthy activities, and develop skills to support recovery.
