All Our Kids Inc. Announces Community Diaper Drive

SOUTH HADLEY — All Our Kids Inc. announced a partnership with the South Hadley branch of Greenfield Cooperative/Northampton Cooperative Bank for a community diaper drive from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. This initiative aims to provide diapers for the AOK Community Closet, a program of All Our Kids.

From Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, community members are encouraged to drop off diaper donations at the South Hadley branch at 487 Newton St.

National Diaper Need Awareness Week, scheduled for Sept. 23-29, draws attention to the issue of diaper need in the U.S. One in two U.S. families struggles to provide enough diapers to keep a baby or toddler clean, dry, and healthy.

All Our Kids is seeking new, unopened diapers, from newborn to toddler, as well as wipes, pull-ups, training pants, and diaper-rash cream. Monetary donations are also welcomed and will be used to purchase diapers for distribution. Donations can be made online at fosteringaok.org/donate.

The collected diapers will be available to foster and adoptive families at the AOK Community Closet at 6 Open Square Way, Holyoke. This collaboration with Greenfield Cooperative/Northampton Cooperative Bank strengthens community ties and highlights the importance of supporting foster and adoptive families in Western Mass.
