American Cancer Society Welcomes Four New Members to Regional Board

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. — The American Cancer Society announced the appointment of four new members to its Southern and Western New England area board for a term of three years. The new board members are Cassandra Crowal, director of the Cancer Institute for the Hartford Region of Hartford HealthCare; Liberty Bank Executive Vice President and General Counsel Daniel Matos; Hartford Yard Goats President Tim Restall; and Jeff Sattler, first vice president and senior commercial relationship manager for Commercial Banking at Liberty Bank.

“We are thrilled to welcome Cassandra, Dan, Tim, and Jeff to the Southern and Western New England board and look forward to their contributions and unique perspective,” said Wendy Matthews, executive director at the American Cancer Society. “The extensive talent and knowledge of our existing and newly elected board members is critical to helping the American Cancer Society continue its mission to lead the fight for a world without cancer. We can’t and won’t allow progress to be put on hold because of COVID-19. We are incredibly grateful for the work of all of our board members in attacking cancer from every angle.”
