Apex Healthcare Launches Web Site

SPRINGFIELD — Apex Healthcare Services, a Springfield-based home health care agency, has launched its new Web site, www.apexcares.com. The site provides information on the company’s home care services, which range from light housekeeping and meal preparation to case management and nursing care. Moreover, the Web site provides a comprehensive resource guide of local elder care agencies that support the area’s elderly population.

“One of our goals with the Web site is to create a destination in which seniors and caretakers can easily find the local resources they need to arrange important elder care services,” said Cheryl Rumley, RN, president and CEO of Apex Healthcare Services. “We understand that home care services are only part of the big picture. By combining these resources, we hope to make the process of researching and arranging important elder care services more manageable.”

The resources included on the Web site include links to Greater Springfield Senior Services, local Council on Aging agencies, a physician finder, and the Home & Health Care Assoc. of Mass. guidelines for finding a licensed home care agency.
