Application Deadline Extended for Nursing Program
CHICOPEE — Elms College is extending the deadline for applications for the spring semester for its new Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) program to Jan. 11.
In October, Elms announced that it will begin offering an MSN program in the spring semester, with two specialty tracks: nursing and health services management, and nursing education.
The MSN degree is designed to build on baccalaureate nursing education to prepare the graduate for advanced practice nursing roles, and serves as a foundation for doctoral study to prepare nursing faculty. Taught by an interdisciplinary faculty from nursing, business, and education, the MSN program provides experienced professional nurses with the education and skills needed to function in a rapidly changing health care environment that demands new and innovative approaches to nursing.
