Arbors Bike Ride Raises Money for Meals on Wheels

WESTFIELD — The Arbors Assisted Living Communities organized an 85-mile charity bike ride on Aug. 1 to raise money for Meals on Wheels of Western Mass.

Bikers began their journey at 9 a.m. at the Westfield location and traveled to all Arbors sites in Western Mass., including Greenfield, Amherst, and Chicopee. They ended their last leg of 25 miles at the Arbors at Chicopee, where residents and employees gathered to cheer them on. Bikers were given a bowl of ice cream filled with toppings in thanks for their participation.

All Arbors locations will be selling raffle tickets for the remainder of August to continue to raise money for Meals on Wheels. Stop by any Arbors location for a chance to win a raffle basket ($75 value) and to support a good cause.
