Area Lawmakers to Host Virtual Information Session with Caring Health Center
SPRINGFIELD — State Sen. Adam Gomez and state Rep. Carlos Gonzalez announced that a virtual informational session will be held on Tuesday, March 10 in collaboration with Caring Health Center of Springfield.
The purpose of this virtual event, slated for 11 a.m. to noon, is to discuss information and answer questions related to the center’s COVID-19 support and resources. The Facebook Live event page is www.facebook.com/events/655837998464707.
An overview of the services that Caring Health Center provides to patients and visitors will be led by Tania Barber, the facility’s president and CEO.
A discussion on COVID-19 protocols the center has implemented since the start of the pandemic will be led by Shamicka Jones and Jonathan Moseley. They will discuss the center’s testing procedures, mobile outreach to patients, vaccine access and other resources, and implementation of a multi-platform communication strategy.
A 30-minute panel discussion with various members from the center will follow, accompanied by a live Q&A session from the general public.
