Austen Riggs Center Conference Slated for July 21
STOCKBRIDGE — The Erikson Institute of the Austen Riggs Center will present “Leadership and Institutional Integrity,” a one-day conference on Saturday, July 21, being held in memory of the Rev. Dr. A. Wesley Carr, former dean of Westminster Abbey, former Erikson Scholar, and former member of the Erikson Institute Council of Scholars of the Austen Riggs Center. The conference examines current leadership pressures in major institutions of education, arts, government, and healthcare.
Dr. Jane Tillman, conference director, and Evelyn Stefansson Nef, director of the Erikson Institute for Education and Research at the Austen Riggs Center, noted that “leadership and institutional integrity are timely topics in our culture and in our society today as we think about the purpose of institutions, how they carry out their missions, and how leaders can help.”
The cost is $150, includes breakfast, lunch, and conference reception. To register, visit www.austenriggs.org/leadership or call the Erikson Institute education coordinator at (413) 931-5230.
