Bay Path Pins More Than 140 Future Occupational Therapists
LONGMEADOW — Bay Path University’s annual pinning ceremony for master of occupational therapy students entering the final phase of their education honored 144 students last month. The ceremony signifies the students’ transition from classroom studies to the clinical portion of the curriculum.
University President Carol Leary and Provost Melissa Morriss-Olson spoke at the event, which included the students, faculty and staff of the occupational therapy program, as well as friends, family, and community members.
The master of occupational therapy program at Bay Path, open to both men and women, is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education of the American Occupational Therapy Assoc. Graduate students can enroll in the full-time, two-year program or half-time, three-year program.
