Baystate Endocrinology to Host Free World Diabetes Day Health Fair on Nov. 14
SPRINGFIELD — In recognition of World Diabetes Day, Baystate Endocrinology will host a free community health fair on Friday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3300 Main St., Suite 3A, Springfield.
The event will offer a variety of activities and resources aimed at helping community members take charge of their health and learn more about preventing and managing diabetes. Highlights include:
• Free A1C testing from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
• Beginner-friendly exercise classes at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.;
• Healthy cooking demonstrations at 1 and 2 p.m.; and
• Q&A sessions with Baystate Endocrinology’s medical professionals throughout the day.
The health fair is open to the public, and all activities and screenings are free of charge. No appointments are necessary.
