Baystate Franklin Medical Center Welcomes Jodi Stack
GREENFIELD — Jodi Stack, MSN, RN has joined the team at Baystate Franklin Medical Center (BFMC) as its chief Nursing officer and chief administrative officer. She arrived on June 24, succeeding Deborah Provost, who announced her July 2 retirement earlier this year.
Stack served as chief Nursing officer at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH) in Brattleboro, Vt. since 2018, and as chief operating officer since 2022. During this time, she was a member of the executive leadership team responsible for developing and implementing strategic, financial, and operational goals for the organization. Additionally, she provided operational, clinical, and fiscal leadership to all clinical departments, led successful contract negotiations with the nursing union, improved staffing through innovative programming, and played a lead role in COVID-19 response.
Prior to joining the BMH executive team, she held two other leadership positions at BMH, serving first as director of Patient Experience in 2015 and subsequently director of Community Initiatives in 2017. In those roles, she led initiatives aimed at improving patient, family, and employee experience and advancing the health of the community.

Stack began her career at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in 2000 as a nursing assistant at the Beacon Recovery Center and was a registered nurse in the Emergency Department from 2004 to 2015. She holds a master’s degree in nursing administration from American International College, a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kennesaw State University in Georgia, and an associate degree in nursing from Greenfield Community College.
