Baystate Mary Lane Hospital Announces Community Health Screenings
WARE — Baystate Mary Lane Hospital is dedicated to help people lead healthier, fuller lives by offering affordable community health screenings throughout 2010.
“We take a great deal of pride in bringing these health screenings in three sites in the community,” said John Olinski, MT, supervisor of Laboratory at the hospital. “Our community health screening program includes a lipid-panel, blood-glucose, and blood-pressure screening.”
The hospital sends a copy of the results to the patients and their physicians.
“We remind them to speak to their physician about their laboratory results,” said Olinski. “Their health care providers will help them decide what treatment is best for them, if any, based on their cholesterol and blood-glucose screening results. If community members don’t have a physician, we help them locate one.”
