WARE – Baystate Mary Lane Hospital recently announced the appointment of Lisa Beaudry, MPH, CNM, BSN, as nurse manager for the hospital’s Women and Infants Unit.
In her new role, Beaudry will be responsible for day-to-day operations and administrative functions of the unit, including strategic planning and program development.
Beaudry comes to the position with a rich background in women’s health, having worked as a staff and charge nurse in the 38-bed LDRP unit at Baystate Medical Center, and as a certified nurse midwife for a Baystate Medical Practice in Springfield, said Marna Mucha, MSN., RN, Director of Nursing, Baystate Mary Lane Hospital. “At the medical practice, she delivered over 300 newborns.”
As a member of the Baystate Medical Center Flex Team for Nursing, Beaudry has spent time at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital for the past three years, working on the Women and Infants Unit, said Mucha. “During her time here at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital, she has shared her expertise in obstetrical and gynecological care with the unit, strengthening our nursing practice.”
