Baystate Mary Lane to Offer ‘Spa Spectacular’ for Women

WARE — On Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m., Baystate Mary Lane Hospital will host “Spa Spectacular: Women’s Night Out with a Purpose.”
This event will offer women the opportunity to indulge in an evening of salon-style pampering and decadent desserts, schedule their upcoming health screening appointments if they have not done so already, and tour the hospital’s new digital mammography suite. “Spa Spectacular” will be held in the Radiology Department on the first floor of the hospital.
Throughout the evening, Debbie Rozzen, stylist and owner of Silhouettes Salon, will provide relaxing hand treatments, fashion tips, and hair and makeup demonstrations, while certified bra fitter Gail Bogdanovich of Jeunique will offer custom bra-fitting sessions for women who are interested.
Digital mammography is the latest diagnostic technique to help lower breast cancer death rates through early detection, as it produces exceptionally sharp and detailed images. Technologists from the hospital’s mammography service will answer women’s questions about the benefits of this new technology, and staff from Baystate Mary Lane OB/GYN will be available to schedule women for their annual PAP tests and mammograms.
