Baystate Noble Hospital Team Members Donate Toys to Behavioral Health Network
WESTFIELD — Baystate Noble Hospital team members showed their holiday spirit again this year by donating an abundance of toys and gifts during the three-week hospital toy and gift drive. On Dec. 17, President and Chief Operating Officer Lissette Grimaldi and other leaders from the hospital delivered the toys to Behavioral Health Network (BHN) in Westfield.
Behavioral Health Network serves children and families with life challenges due to mental illness, substance-use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“The toy and gift drive is one of my favorite community activities we do at Baystate Noble,” Grimaldi said. “Our team is very generous, and this drive allows them to feel connected to this community. It’s not just about the toys; it’s about bringing people together and bringing some joy to the children and families that are served by BHN.”
Jean Frater, program director at BHN Wellbeing in Westfield, added that “the BHN Carson Center team and I thank the Baystate Noble team from the bottom of our hearts for the most generous donation of holiday gifts. Once again, Baystate Noble has shown the power of community as they opened their hearts to the children and families of the Greater Westfield area and made this season brighter and more joyful than it might otherwise have been. The gifts help ease the strain at a time when people are struggling to make ends meet and the holidays can sometimes feel overwhelming. The relief on a parent’s face when we can offer them a selection of such wonderful gifts lights up our days with holiday magic.”
