Baystate Ob/Gyn Group Welcomes Three New Providers

SPRINGFIELD — Baystate Ob/Gyn Group (BOGG) has welcomed three new providers in 2025, with plans to welcome additional providers later this year: Katherine (“Kat”) Cummings, a board-certified nurse practitioner; Garima Devi, a board-certified nurse practitioner; and Dr. Erin Eppsteiner, an ob/gyn physician.

Thriving in a team-oriented environment, Cummings enjoys partnering with her patients and colleagues to deliver comprehensive gynecologic care, continuing her dedicated career in sexual and reproductive health. She prioritizes clear communication and empathetic care. Her practice is rooted in values of health equity, wellness promotion, and reproductive justice. Her areas of greatest interest include family planning, infection screening and treatment, LGBTQIA+ health, harm reduction, and preventive care.

Having worked previously in New York first as a registered nurse, and later as a nurse practitioner, Devi has years of valuable experience in the women’s health field. “My goal is to provide high-quality care for women at different stages of the lifespan, from adolescence to menopause, by putting an emphasis on preventive care and education so that my patients can advocate for themselves and stay informed,” she said.

With experience in obstetrics and gynecology since 2009, Eppsteiner has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in women’s health. She believes in building strong relationships with her patients and providing empathetic and individualized care, tailored to each woman’s unique needs. She is skilled in managing a range of women’s health issues, including routine gynecological exams, complex pregnancies, and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including robotic surgery. She has a subspecialty in vulvar disease.

“I enjoy getting to know my patients and learning about their goals so I can best educate them and address their concerns,” Eppsteiner said. “My aim is to ensure that women understand their bodies and leave the office feeling confident to make the best decisions surrounding their healthcare.”

Later this year, BOGG will welcome additional providers, including an additional ob/gyn physician and three certified nurse midwives. BOGG’s new Agawam office is scheduled to open in the fall of 2025, adding to its current office locations in Springfield, Longmeadow, and South Hadley.
