Berkshire Medical Center Names Manager Of Clinical Engineering
PITTSFIELD — Berkshire Medical Center (BMC) recently announced the appointment of Jack Henault to the position of Manager of Clinical Engineering.
Henault has worked at Berkshire Medical Center since 1981, starting as a house nursing assistant, and has held numerous positions within the hospital since that time. He previously served in the Clinical Engineering Department as a clinical team leader for the past year. From 1989 to 2002 he worked as a clinical equipment technician in the department.
Henault has also served as an anesthesia equipment technician, an anesthesia technician and operating room nursing assistant during his time at Berkshire Medical Center. In 1998, BMC honored Henault with the Service Excellence Award.
He has been an adjunct instructor in biomedical technology at Berkshire Community College, teaching courses from 1992 to 1996.
Henault has an associate’s degree in engineering technology and biomedical technology from Berkshire Community College. He is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, the Iroquois Biomedical Society, and the New England Society of Clinical Engineering.
