BFAIR Raises More Than $140,000 in Celebration of 30 Years of Service
NORTH ADAMS — BFAIR is celebrating 30 years of service with a milestone year of fundraising, raising more than $140,000 through its 30th-anniversary celebration, Giving Tuesday, and the annual Heart of BFAIR campaign.
The 30th-anniversary celebration, held on Oct. 25 at the Williams Inn, was a success, raising more than $70,000. More than 125 guests, sponsors, and community members gathered for a night of nostalgia, donning ’90s-inspired attire and enjoying an evening filled with music, dancing, and interactive experiences. DJ MusiChris kept the dance floor lively, while guests participated in a photo booth, raffle, and silent auction. Sponsors included SourcePass and Adams Community Bank.
On Dec. 3, BFAIR took part in Giving Tuesday, raising more than $8,000 thanks to the generosity of staff, families, and community partners. Adams Community Bank served as matching sponsor.
Rounding out the year, the Heart of BFAIR campaign ran from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, generating more than $33,000 to promote accessibility, independence, and enhanced program resources for the more than 400 individuals served by BFAIR.
“As we reflect on the past several months, I am incredibly proud of the achievements, milestones, and unwavering dedication demonstrated by our staff, supporters, and community partners,” said Rich Weisenflue, CEO of BFAIR. “From celebrating 30 years of impact to raising over $140,000 through our fundraising initiatives, 2024 has been a year of remarkable progress.”
