BFAIR’s ’90s-themed Fundraiser Raises More Than $70,000
NORTH ADAMS — Berkshire Family & Individual Resources (BFAIR) announced that its recent, ’90s-themed fundraising event raised more than $70,000 to support essential programs for individuals with disabilities across Berkshire County and the Pioneer Valley.
Held on Oct. 25 at the Williams Inn, the event brought together more than 125 guests, sponsors, and community members who embraced the nostalgic atmosphere with ’90s-inspired attire, music, and activities. DJ MusiChris kept the dance floor alive with classic ’90s hits, and guests enjoyed a range of interactive experiences, including a photo booth, raffle, and silent auction.
“We’re humbled by the generosity of our supporters,” BFAIR CEO Rich Weisenflue said. “The funds raised will significantly enhance our programs, from residential and employment services to community living and self-advocacy initiatives. This night was truly unforgettable, and the support we received will have a lasting impact on the individuals we serve.”
A highlight of the evening was a live auction hosted by previous BFAIR board member Alex Kastrinakis, who helped drive home the importance of BFAIR’s mission. Kim Baker, board member and event chair, noted that “the community’s generosity ensures that BFAIR can continue providing meaningful services and resources that empower individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives.”
BFAIR thanks to all attendees, sponsors, and volunteers who made the event possible, with special recognition to SourcePass as the Wheel of Fortune sponsor, and to Adams Community Bank as the Let’s Make a Deal sponsor.
