BHN to Host Vendor Fair Today for Local Licensed Contractors, Tradespeople
SPRINGFIELD — Behavioral Health Network Inc. (BHN) will host a facilities vendor fair and networking event today, May 12, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the organization’s Liberty Street Campus, 395 Liberty St., Springfield. Local licensed contractors, subcontractors, and tradespeople will be in attendance.
Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno, state Reps. Carlos Gonzalez and Bud Williams, and Springfield City Councilors Malo Brown and Jesse Lederman are also expected to attend. Remarks will be offered between 1:30 and 2 p.m.
The vendor fair is being held as BHN is seeking local licensed vendors, including diverse and women- and veteran-owned businesses for upcoming projects. The event will be held outdoors under a tent, and vendors will learn about BHN vendor needs, upcoming projects, and the organization’s procurement process. Vendors will also set up tables to network with one another.
The vendor fair will be held rain or shine, and refreshments will be provided, along with a raffle. Vendors are encouraged to drop by the event anytime between 1 and 3 p.m. Companies and individuals in the following trades are encouraged to attend the fair: abatement, carpentry, demolition, drywall, electric, flooring, general contractors,glass/windows, HVAC, landscaping, painting, plumbing, restoration, and roofing.
