Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation to Present Grant Guidelines
BOSTON — The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation is set to present the grant guidelines for the next phase of the Fostering Effective Integration of Behavioral Health and Primary Care in Massachusetts grant initiative.
For at least three years, the foundation will support and evaluate provider organizations that are established and experienced in delivering integrated behavioral-health and primary-care services. These grants will assess the impact of integration on access to appropriate services, patient engagement and experiences, and clinical outcomes. In addition, a quantitative evaluation will be designed by a third-party evaluator, in partnership with grantees and the foundation.
This initiative furthers the foundation’s mission to expand access to care for vulnerable and low-income people while helping advance the objectives of integrated care in the Commonwealth.
The foundation will host three webinars to present detailed information about the grant program and answer questions from potential applicants. RSVP is required by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15. To sign up for the session, e-mail grantinfo@ bcbsmafoundation.org.
