Braveman Named To National Board

NORTHAMPTON — Carla Braveman, executive director of the VNA/Hospice Alliance, was recently elected to serve a two-year term as chair of the Hospice Assoc. of America (HAA), an affiliate agency of the National Assoc. for Home Care (NAHC) and to concurrently serve on the NAHC Board of Directors.
The HAA is a national organization that represents more than 2,800 hospices and thousands of caregivers and volunteers who serve terminally ill patients and their family members.

Braveman has been with the alliance since April 2001. Prior to that, she was hospice director at Baystate Health Sys-tem and previously hospice clinical dir-ector at Hospice of Hampshire County.
