Cancer House of Hope to Host Prostate-cancer Lecture on Jan. 11
WEST SPRINGFIELD — The Center for Human Development’s Cancer House of Hope will host “Controversies in Prostate Cancer” with Dr. Jeffrey Ochs on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 5:30 p.m., part of its Cancer Education Series presented by the Sr. Caritas Cancer Center.
Ochs is a medical oncologist at the cancer center, located at Mercy Medical Center. He attended medical school at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, N.Y. after completing his residency in internal medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester and his fellowship in clinical oncology at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Md.
An open discussion will follow the lecture. The event is free and open to all, but registration is requested by calling the Cancer House of Hope at (413) 733-1858. The facility is located at 1999 Westfield St., West Springfield.
