‘Caring for the Caregiver’ Presentation and Art Project Slated for Sept. 28

GREAT BARRINGTON — Fairview Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in collaboration with HospiceCare of the Berkshires, will host a free presentation called “Caring for the Caregiver” on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at 151 Christian Hill Road, Great Barrington.

Join Sarah Miller, a licensed clinical social worker, as she addresses the topic of caregiver burnout and shares tips on how to avoid it and promote positive relationships with those you’re caring for. During the presentation, attendees’ loved ones can create watercolor artwork at a free Memories in the Making workshop, sponsored by Fairview’s Adult Day Health program.
