CDH Offers Scholarships for Nurses, Students
NORTHAMPTON — Area students interested in pursuing nursing careers or current nurses interested in advancing knowledge in their field can apply for scholarships made possible through four named Cooley Dickinson funds: the Cooley Dickinson School of Nursing Alumni Assoc. Fund, the Edward S. Moss Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Therese Connor Nursing Education Fund, and the Louise Finn Nursing Scholarship Fund.
To be considered, applicants must complete an application and write an essay of between 250 and 500 words. Applications and essays are due April 16. Scholarship announcements will be made on June 29.
As the criteria for each scholarship is different, applicants should visit www.cooley-dickinson.org/scholarships for more information and to download the applications. Each scholarship will be awarded based on an applicant’s academic and work histories in combination with essays in which they are asked to describe their commitment to the health care profession.
