Center for Extended Care in Amherst Welcomes Chris, Crystal Roberts
AMHERST — The Center for Extended Care recently welcomed Chris and Crystal Roberts (husband and wife) to the administrator and director of Nursing positions, respectively.
Chris Roberts, LNHA, joins the team at CECAA with almost 15 years’ experience as a long-term care administrator. Starting with an internship at the Masonic Care Community in Utica, N.Y., he has been a part of almost the entire long-term-care spectrum, from assisted living and independent senior communities to more than a decade in skilled nursing facilities, and five years serving as a board member for the Springfield Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
Crystal Roberts, RN, joins CECAA full time after serving as its interim director of Nursing since August 2021. Immediately prior, she worked for Eisenstein and Flaherty Senior Living Consultants, working with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to assure nursing facilities throughout the state responded, or corrected their responses, to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to that, she has been an RN unit manager, an emergency room and IC RN, and before that, a certified nurses assistant.
