CSO’s Family Resource Center Receives Governor’s Citation

AMHERST — While attending a statewide meeting for Family Resource Centers (FRC) in Boston on Sept. 6,  CSO’s Family Resource Center, the Bridge, was presented with a governor’s citation in recognition of its’ “outstanding commitment, dedication, and service delivery to the families displaced by Hurricane Maria who sought refuge in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.”

Receiving this honor on behalf of CSO were Sarah Presson, director of the Bridge, and Kelly Thibodeau, program manager. The Bridge, located in Amherst, has been actively involved in supporting eight families placed in the area in response to the hurricane. It provided case-management services that assisted in securing healthcare, housing, and educational supports.
