CMIC Group Employees Select Warm the Children for $1,500 Donation

GLASTONBURY, Conn. — CMIC Group, a medical professional liability insurance company headquartered in Glastonbury, Conn., recently donated $1,500 to Warm the Children.

CMIC employees took part in a company-sponsored stepping competition and elected to donate their winnings to Warm the Children, whose mission is to provide new warm winter clothing for children of needy families. This is accomplished through collaboration with local newspapers, other charities, social-service agencies, schools, and cooperating retailers.

“Warm the Children is fulfilling a basic but critical need,” said Denise Funk, CMIC Group CEO. “They are also bestowing families with the peace of mind that their children will be adequately equipped for the winter elements, a comfort that goes far beyond providing winter clothing.”
