Community Program on Nov. 20 to Tackle HPV and Sexual Health
NORTHAMPTON — The most common sexually transmitted infection in the U.S., HPV, human papillomavirus, is a group of more than 200 related viruses, some of which are spread through vaginal, anal, or oral sex.
There are lots of questions that surround HPV: does it cause cancer? Who should get the HPV vaccine? How is HPV transmitted? What are the symptoms of HPV? Obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Edward Patton will tackle these questions and more during a discussion about this wide-ranging topic on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Dakin Conference Room at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton.
Seating is limited, and registration is required. To register, call 888-554-4234 or visit www.cooleydickinson.org/events.
