Cooley Dickinson Hospital Offers Two Support Groups for Caregivers
NORTHAMPTON — For people who are caring for family members and friends with a chronic illness or others who face end of life due to illness or injury, Cooley Dickinson Hospital offers a weekly Caregivers support group, Thursdays from 4 to 5 p.m. in the hospital’s East Wing 2 (second floor) conference room.
The free sessions are intended to provide support for families and caregivers of people living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementias, and other debilitating conditions.
In addition, Cooley Dickinson hosts a free, weekly support group for people whose loved ones are living with mental illness, addictions, or both, on Thursdays from 5 to 6 p.m., also in the East Wing 2 (second floor) conference room.
For more information about either support group, call Bruce Bradley-Gilbert, lead counselor, at (413) 582-2722.
